summer is ending and the stress is already building. i think its a bit ridiculous, but cest la vie. jimmy carter was the worst president ever and is the most boring person to read about and i defy anyone to tell me otherwise (that last part about defiance was a joe esterhauz quote that i read in entertainment weekly). so i went to reagan library today and saw a bunch of old, wrinkly republicans in suits working there.. my mom still insisted on cracking george w. bush jokes the entire time. needless to say, i dont think they liked us very much. if only mom can learn to keep her comments to herself, we're working on that. as we were leaving the museum/library/hell (in simi valley) my mom decided to inform me that my family, with my uncle (moms brother***), is buying land in fiji. WHAT?!? I wanted to go to vacation in tahiti, but the family vetoed it because it was too expensive. i dont know how they think fiji would be any cheaper. they call it an investment, but i dont know how good of one it is. so, if anyone's up for it--senior trip to fiji after graduation? im down. i hear they have good water there. i still have to do bible quotes and write a children's book using ten of the quotes. i decided my story will be about a bunch of kids on their wway to salvation in Jesusland where everyone is nice and good. Im not even sure if people still read these things, but i figuered id give it a shot. hope you had a good summer even though i dont think i saw any of you (which was probably not the best thing). bark with me if you're my dog. see you in a couple days. shoot me.
***this is the same brother that is a urologist and in the past seven years has lived in new zealand, montana, and now arizona (but the place where all the old hippies settled). obviously he is the best candidate to be an investment partner with. i hope this fares well.
